The Company’s two flagship projects, the South West Arkansas Project, and the Phase 1A Project look to harness the vast potential of the Smackover Formation. This prolific formation stretches from central Texas to the Florida Panhandle, boasting the highest reported lithium-in-brine grade in North America. Located within the Arkansas portion of the Smackover, our projects benefit from the state’s ideal business conditions. Arkansas itself offers a business-friendly environment with a rich history of chemical and energy production, a skilled workforce, and a central location within the Electric Mobility Manufacturing Corridor. In addition to our focus on Arkansas, where we leverage existing commercial brine industry expertise, Standard Lithium is also actively engaged in exploration efforts in East Texas, expanding our reach and solidifying our position as a leader in domestic lithium production.

Standard Lithium's partnership with Equinor, a global energy company and leader in renewables and low carbon solutions marks a significant milestone in the development of our South West Arkansas Project and East Texas developments. Equinor's substantial experience in project development, execution, and risk management, along with their financial resources, underscores the potential of our projects and accelerates the path towards sustainable, domestic lithium production.

The South West Arkansas Project
The South West Arkansas Project (“SWA”), developed in partnership with global energy leader Equinor, is a greenfield project encompassing approximately 36,000 proposed unitized acres, is adjacent to Albemarle’s Magnolia bromine operations and Exxon Mobil’s lithium project. The SWA project boasts an average lithium grade of 437 mg/L and benefits from established regional infrastructure, including access to water, power, gas, and rail. With a substantial Indicated and Inferred Resource of 1.4 Mt and 0.4 Mt lithium carbonate equivalent, respectively, the project has significant potential for long-term operation.

East Texas Developments
Standard Lithium, in partnership with Equinor, is actively exploring the vast potential of the Smackover Formation in East Texas. Initial drilling results indicate a significant lithium brine resource with grades exceeding those encountered in our Arkansas projects. Leveraging our combined team's expertise in the Smackover Formation, we are continuing exploration efforts to define the full potential of this exciting new frontier for domestic lithium production.

Phase 1A: Advancing Direct Lithium Extraction to Commercial Scale
The Phase 1A Project aims to achieve significant commercial lithium production at the LANXESS South Plant, located approximately 8 miles southwest of the City of El Dorado in Union County, Arkansas. The Phase 1A Project will deploy a commercial-scale Direct Lithium Extraction plant at the LANXESS South Plant, processing tail brine through a strategic partnership enabled through commercial brine supply, site lease, and infrastructure arrangements with LANXESS.
