Standard Lithium Appoints Kara Norman As Chief Financial Officer
VANCOUVER, BC / May 1, 2017 / Standard Lithium Ltd. (“Standard Lithium” or the “Company”) (SLL.V) (S5L.F) is pleased to announce the appointment of Kara Norman as Chief Financial Officer and Corporate Secretary of the Company effective immediately.
Ms. Norman is a Chartered Professional Accountant with extensive experience in financial reporting for exploration-stage resource companies. She previously held the position of Controller for Strata Gold Corporation (a subsidiary of Victoria Gold Corp.) and Tintina Resources Inc. Ms. Norman currently holds the position of Interim Chief Financial Officer for Solidus Gold Inc., Asia Base Metals Inc. and Mantra Solar Systems Inc.
In connection with the appointment of Ms. Norman, Gavin Cooper has resigned as a director and Chief Financial Officer of the Company and Emily Davis has resigned as Corporate Secretary of the Company. The Company thanks Mr. Cooper and Ms. Davis for their service to the Company over the years.
